This is a nice one. Poita_ is definitely my top 20 favorite player at the moment. He takes chances and you never know what he is going to do next. Check this one out

Wow. Gotta love that strategy, I bet if Poita_ played WC3, his favourite strategy would be tower rushing
This is an advanced form of tower rushing, though

Haha, thanks for the comments guys.
It's a pretty risky strategy as you can probably tell but there are less-risky-but-less-rewarding alternatives. For example I could've just dropped the engineers to the north of his base away from everything and built a few PDs there. You can also build a factory in about the same amount of time as a PD and start spamming artillery with the engineers assisting or just PD creep into his base with the engineers.
A few notes for anyone who wants to try this strat:
1. Make sure you have the resources available to build the first PD when you drop. You can't build a PD fast if you don't have the resources no matter how many engies are on it. A PD costs 240 mass so you want at least that much.
2. Don't drop anywhere near enemy units. Make sure you scout his base first with an air scout or just with interceptors to find a good drop-zone. One aurora will kill all your engineers before the PD finishes. If you can't find a good drop point in his base then just build it further out and creep in or setup a factory.
3. Don't bother if his ACU is near. An ACU will make mince-meat out of a PD or two. It's simply not worth it.
This strat works really well on Winter Duel because everyone always sends their ACU forward really early. It also works well on Syrtis Major. Remember that you need a lot of energy for that first transport so a hydrocarbon plant is absolutely necessary. You'll even want a few more powerplants if you plan on assisting it.

Thanks for the explanation, didn't gather that much information on the strategy from the replay

Well, the point of the strategy is getting PD up asap, so it would probably not be possible with just one engineer builting PD. Of course, the mantii can assist, but they only build at a fraction of the speed.
