The harsh life of a commander.
Have you ever imagined how it would be to be a commander? Well I have..
Imagine being send out by UEF, you’re a big man inside the organization and you got a big ass gun on your arm. But then they tell you its war and its time to send out their best man, you! At first you’re really excited because you know your going to get some action. But then you start to realize the dangers, I mean what if you die? So after thinking about it you decide you still want to go and protect your race.
Exit and entry.
This is the point I personally would look the least forward to. I mean first you get launched like you’re in space mountain but that ends on the same rollercoaster track plus it has brakes. This however is not that gentle, you simply smash into the ground leaving a big crater. Confused from the landing you have to pull yourself together and start building like crazy, because you’ve been told there’s an enemy nearby.
Exploring.
Like every curious commander you want to see more of the world you smashed into. So you decide to go for a walk, maybe see some nice scenery you can suck up, or some water you can bath in. But instead of having a quiet walk in the park you get randomly assaulted by scouts/tanks/gunships and more. It’s not that the fun is stops there, no if you’re really lucky you get to fight with another commander, so instead of thinking you’re a big mean machine you find out that you’re not the only tough guy out there.
Victory or defeat.
So after this rollercoaster of emotions passing through you’re head you have to keep focused. You know now what kind of force you’re fighting against, you know what your chance are but most of all you know that losing will be a pretty sight for the other guy. Packed with explosives to make sure to erase any technology that could be stolen from your remains. So what started out as being cool ends up into being frightening and dramatic especially when you know that if you conquer this part you will be send to the next part of the world or even to another strange planet.
Conclusion.
I think we should bare these things in mind the next time we send out our commander into war, make sure he has a nice stay and make sure he gets to fight another day!
